Mental health is an area of growing concern in today’s culture. The National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) states that mental disorders are common in the United States and internationally. An estimated 26.2 percent of Americans ages 18 and older — about one in four adults — suffer from a diagnosable mental disorder in a given year.1 Children also face mental disorders. The National Mental Health Information Center estimates that as many as one in five children and adolescents may have a mental health disorder that can be identified and treated.
Fortunately, you are not alone. There is hope!
