Northwest College Support provides creative, educational solutions tailored to meet the specific and unique needs of individuals as they attend college or pursue vocational skill building. Northwest College Support was created out of an increasing demand for inventive and adaptive modes of supporting young adults as they transition in college and independence. Our team believes that education is a powerful tool, and that it is the right of individuals to receive the support to reach full potential in as young adults. In our staff’s collective experience, we found that individuals can overcome their challenges when challenges are addressed openly in combination with a willingness to utilize supportive resources. Our team believes that the right environment creates exceptional growth in individuals. We believe different people need different environments to meet their needs. For example, a big, 4-year college is not for everyone. A big, urban community is not for everyone. A big classroom is not for everyone. Some individuals need extra encouragement, some need to feel a sense of community, some need consistent accountability, and some individuals just need to try a different approach than they tried in the past. When an individual comes to Northwest College Support, a support team is created specifically for that individual.
The staff at Northwest College Support combines their experiences in Special Education, Psychology, Counseling, Residential Treatment, Psychotherapy, Nutrition, Life Coaching, and Educational Coaching. The combination of all this experience creates a team that is adaptable, and has the ability and expertise to support individuals through this critical life stage. Our team consists of School Psychologists, Counselors, Social Workers, Educational Coaches, & Life Coaches. We recognize the importance of cultivating meaningful relationships with each & every one of the young adults in our program. Perhaps you or a loved one is struggling academically on their collegiate path.
