Sunrise RTC
We know that while your daughter is going through her own healing process, she needs a home that can meet all of her needs. All girls need safety, compassion, protection, guidance, education, fun, and love. So Sunrise offers balanced programming that addresses a teen girl’s therapeutic, academic, and life skills needs in a home-like setting.
In keeping with our commitment to balance, Sunrise is the only teen girls’ residential treatment program that offers all three phases of treatment (stabilization and assessment, treatment, and transition) from a single location and with a consistent licensed staff. Since many treatment professionals recommend a three-phase process for adolescents struggling with emotional or behavioral issues, many adolescents attend several programs – one for each treatment phase. This approach can be both lengthy and costly. Our secure facility and in-town location has allowed us to create a program uniquely equipped to address all three phases of treatment.
The assessment and stabilization phase ensures that your daughter receives the type of treatment she really needs and that she is stabilized enough to engage in treatment. The treatment phase is where deep personal and family work takes place so that the young person can grow in understanding, confidence, wholeness. The transition phase ensures that changes made in treatment are practiced in a real world context so that they can survive the return home. Sunrise advocates a three-phase approach to treatment, but we also advocate offering all three phases in one setting.
Our therapists, teachers, residential life staff know that the success of their work with your daughter depends not only on your daughter’s involvement, but on yours as well. Utilizing a Family Systems Approach, our work with your daughter is always done with reference to, the involvement of, the family.
