Description:

White River academy is a residential treatment center for young men with an academic structure in Delta, Utah. We provide a safe, secure and structured environment for troubled children to confront and overcome their issues, allowing them to develop into the men they are meant to be. Using an experiential learning approach that prompts students to think about what they do, we stand out from typical programs for troubled youth by combining therapeutic programming, a customized academic curriculum and community service to foster personal growth and create men of character and integrity.

The White River Academy is not a “school for bad kids” nor does it rely on the negative reinforcement tactics of boot camp schools for boys. Unlike most troubled youth programs and reform schools for boys, we welcome international students, enriching the quality of education and social interaction in the program.

Our treatment center is much more than simply a school for troubled kids, but a place for inner exploration and personal development. By helping young adults learn invaluable life skills in addition to finding a quick and lasting recovery, the White River Academy has established itself as one of the leading programs for teenagers in the country.
White River Academy has a track record of success turning around the lives of troubled teens.
